Reach Outdoors brings a fresh approach to outdoor learning.

A company established by long term friends and colleagues Ashley Hone, Rachel Mayhew and Richard Hanbury, together we have over 30 years combined experience of outdoor practice. We also have a real passion for the outdoors, and constantly see development opportunities in all that we do.

The Reach Outdoors philosophy is to use the outdoor environment as a medium to release potential, developing the whole person and encouraging the transfer of acquired skills to everyday life.

Reach Outdoors adheres to best practice, based on recommendations from national governing bodies, technical advisors and experience gained in the industry.

We hold public liability insurance, and are licenced by the Adventure Activities Licencing Authority to work with under 18’s for the following activities: Rock climbing; Abseiling; Off road cycling; Hill walking and mountaineering; Coasteering; Gorge Scrambling; Sailing; Improvised rafting; Caving Kayaking and Open canoeing. As a matter of course, we constantly evaluate operational practices to ensure that our clients gain the most from their experience, in a safely managed environment.
