National Coasteer Guide Award

  • This 2-day training course follows the National Coasteer Guide Award syllabus from the National Coasteering Charter and is a great starting point for those interested in become a coasteering guide. 

  • A mixture of theory and practical sessions, candidates will explore the before, during and after elements of a Coasteering session, leadership and environment specific lifesaving skills.  

  • The course is delivered by Mark Agnew, who is the NCC Regional Trainer for South Devon.  

  • The course is recognised by all NCC Member Centres across the UK.

  • After the course, candidates will receive an individual development plan to assist them to work towards an assessment of skills and competencies. The period between training and assessment will enable you to hone these skills in a range of sea conditions.

  • Assessment can be arranged separately following a period of consolidation and gaining sufficient logbook experience.
