We are your team, 2018!

We are your team, 2018!

The dictionary states that a team is a group of people that work together for a common goal.

This I feel sums us up well, as whatever our goal; of the day, week or season we all work very hard together to achieve it. This couldn’t be clearer than now as all the training for the season is now complete and we are in full swing with residentials, school groups, open sessions and of course the ever-busy beach hire.

This year the Reach Outdoors team is bigger than ever, with 16 staff as well as regular freelancers, this more than doubles the team from last year, although we still have some returning faces and the same high standard of delivery.

Know the team:

The core of the team are the three directors that started Reach Outdoors (Rich, Rachel and Ash) who’s hard work has kept the company growing from strength to strength. Next in line is Abi (senior instructor) who has been a part of the Reach Team from the very beginning. Aaron (senior instructor) returning for the forth year.

Next is the lead instructors; Carlos (third year), Danny (second), Luke (second), Andy (first year) and Dave, who has even made the switch from freelancer to staff member (he loved teal so much).

Making up the core instructor team are Jack (returning after a season completing a PGCE), Chris (first year with Reach, after just completing an outdoor degree), Alan (returning after completing his apprenticeship last season with us).

Plus, and most importantly are the three apprentices for this year; Coral, Jamie and Tom who are completing their apprenticeships with us and Exeter collage.

Also along for the ride is our pool of amazing freelancers who help us throughout the whole year.

We as a team are all committed to building on the successes of the last few seasons and continuing to deliver a fantastic range of exciting adventures activities on both land and sea. We welcome you all to join us this year for some fun in the (hopefully) sun!
