"Breaking Barriers: A Golden Opportunity for Inclusivity in the Duke of Edinburgh Expedition with Reach Outdoors"

Introduction:

In the spirit of breaking barriers and fostering inclusivity, Reach Outdoors is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for individuals with additional needs to embark on a transformative journey through the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Expedition programme during the Easter break in 2024. This initiative is designed to empower and support participants, providing an enriching experience that transcends physical and cognitive differences.

The Gold Duke of Edinburgh Expedition:

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) has long been a beacon of personal development, encouraging young individuals to push their limits, explore their potential, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. However, the traditional DofE programme may present challenges for those with additional needs. Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, Reach Outdoors has collaborated with the DofE to create a tailored expedition that accommodates diverse abilities.

Why This Opportunity Matters:

Inclusivity is at the heart of this initiative, allowing individuals of all abilities to experience the life-changing benefits of the DofE programme. The Easter break in 2024 offers a perfect window for participants and their familiar adults to embark on this adventure together, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared accomplishment.

Key Features:

Tailored Support:

Participants will benefit from personalized support, ensuring that their unique needs are met throughout the expedition. Reach Outdoors is committed to working closely with families and familiar adults to understand and address specific requirements, creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
