The club is offered to ages 8 – 14 years. For insurance and safeguarding purposes it is important that the age restrictions are respected.

We ask that each day you come suitably dressed and equipped for both land and water activities as we will look to take advantage of the weather to offer the best experience on the day.

This means coming dressed in suitable active clothing that you don’t mind getting a little muddy, we’ll be outdoors! In addition, please have:

· Bag or Rucksack

· Waterproof coat with suitable footwear (trainers).

· Swimwear to wear under wetsuits (dry change for after)

· Old shoes that you’re willing to get wet.

· A towel

· A balanced lunch with a refillable drink

​· Snacks

…and anything else needed as dictated by the weather (suncream, glasses, hat, warm layers etc)

All activity specific equipment (wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids etc). Fresh Drinking water for refilling bottles. A varied activity program to provide participants with a fun and engaging, active learning experience. An experienced team of outdoors professionals who are passionate about their jobs and helping young people to engage with the natural environment.

We offer a varied programme of activities that will allow participants to explore, discover and be challenged by their natural envieronment. Subject to suitable weather conditions, this can include: Sea Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Raft Building, Rock Pooling, Bushcraft, Coastal Exploration, Orienteering, Sports and Beach Games. Activities will be chosen to make best use of the weather conditions and Reach Outdoors will reserve the right to amend programmed sessions without notice in the interest of safety and quality. Every effort will be made to provide a varied activity programme but whatever the weather we ensure this programme will be safe, fun and engaging. 

No, participants need to bring a complete lunch and snacks as we’ll need the energy. Participants also need ot bring a refillable drinks bottle. 

If participants require additional support then they can attend this programme with the support of a 1:1 worker if required. Our ratios for this particular programme do not allow us to offer more personalised support on a 1:1 level. We do offer other provisions which can cater for more specific individual needs. Please call the office to discuss individual needs and we will be be able to advise further. 

Arrival times and morning registration are strict, this is to ensure quality of service for all involved as we might be heading offsite and need to depart promptly. As spaces are limited unfortunately a late arrival could result in forfeiting your activities. Also we have a policy on late pick up's to ensure that parents are as prompt as possible. This is detailed in the terms and conditions when you book.

Reach Outdoors operates a strict code of conduct which we expect participants to adhere to. This ensures the safety and enjoyment of all involved. Failure to follow the fair rules imposed might unfortunately result in the removal of a participant at their expense.

Are qualified in the activities that they are providing, all hold a current Outdoor First Aid certificate and are DBS checked prior to employment.

Of course if you let us know at the time of booking we’ll ensure you’re in the same activity group. Participants must be aged 8-14 years however.

If you like! The activities will ultimately be the same but the skills that we develop along the way will always have room for improvement. We do our jobs everyday of the week, summer and winter and we never get bored!
