PADDLESPORT SAFETY & RESCUE

Awarded through British Canoeing, the Paddlesport Safety and Rescue course is a one-day training course to teach you the basic skills of safety and rescue in sheltered water across multiple craft. Each individual will choose their preferred craft to rescue from and then learn and demonstrate safety and rescue techniques across kayaks, canoes and paddleboards from their chosen craft.

There is no separate assessment for this course, but participants will come away with a development plan.
