Kayak & Wild Camping Expedition
The Sea Kayak and Wild Camp Expedition will make best use of the conditions to explore amazing South Devon coastline and estuaries. Our typical route will set off from the heart of Torbay and traverse the stunning coastline of Berryhead & Sharkham Point on Day 1. Exploring sea caves and spotting wildlife before pitching up at a secluded camp & enjoying a hearty meal cooked around the open fire. Enjoy the evening around the fire before a night under the stars on the remote beach. A gentle paddle back the next day to discover all of the sea caves we passed the previous day, keeping our eyes peeled for seals and possibly even the odd porpoise or dolphin if we're lucky!
What's included?
2 Days, 1 Night Kayaking Expedition. Arrival 09.30 (day 1) - 4pm departure (day 2).
Included in this package you will have access to top of the range sit on top kayaks and all relevant equipment. You will be led by a highly qualified kayaking guide who can coach en route and tell you all about the scenery and wildlife. The evening meal, breakfast and lunch on the second day is included in the price.

Is it suitable for me?
No previous experience is required but a moderate level of fitness will ensure the experience is enjoyable.
A wild experience is very rewarding but you should be prepared for all that it entails, including the absence of facilities and the good old weather. We do this because we love it and really enjoy sharing this experience with others.
Minimum age for this adventure is 14 years if accompanied by an adult.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
The weather around the coast is very changeable and it may be that we aren’t able to kayak on your booked weekend. If we aren’t able to run a kayak expedition on your arranged weekend, you will be given the following options for your booking:
- A Wild Weekend experience with us on your original weekend (if it is safe to do so) – consisting of 4 different outdoor adventurous activities across the weekend, and a walk into a wild camp destination on the Saturday evening.
- Rearrange to another available date for a Wild Kayak Experience.
- Full refund.
Cost, 2024 Dates and Booking
The cost of this experience is £220 per person all inclusive. If you have a group of 4 or more then you're entitled to a private group, please call our office to arrange a date for your expedition.
