Kayak & Stand Up Paddleboard Hire

Between April & October, we offer kayak (single and tandem) and paddleboard hire from the turquoise hut on Goodrington South Sands Beach (in front of Splashdown Waterpark).

Our hours of operation are typically 10am-5pm, on days with light winds and little swell. Sometimes we open earlier and occassionally we have evening hire available.

The best place to check if and when we are open is on our facebook page or to give our office a call from 9am. We are weather dependent, so it can change throughout a day if conditions change.

We provide buoyancy aids and paddles as part of the hire cost and hire out wetsuits at an additional cost. 

Our prices for hire are as follows:

Key Information

• Wetsuits are available for hire at the rate of £5 for the duration of your hire.
• We accept payment by card or cash.
• Craft can only be hired by people aged 18 and over. Under 18s may use the craft providing they are supervised by an adult.
• No instruction on using the craft is provided and by hiring a craft, you are taking full responsibility for yourself and any participants using the craft.
• All participants must wear a buoyancy aid when in the water and follow all instructions provided in the safety brief.
• We do not allow bookings in advance or over the phone for hire. 
• The minimum age for people to be on our craft is 4, providing they fit into a buoyancy aid.
• We do not have buoyancy aids for dogs and dogs (or other pets) are not allowed on our hire craft.
• Please note that from May - September 30th, dogs are not allowed on Goodrington South Sands Beach. They are allowed on the promenade and on Goodrington North Sands Beach.
